Struggle of two districts since 25 years

BJP kept the proposal stalled by using community

Chandrapur:

The struggle for a direct train from Chandrapur-Ballarpur to Howrah is not coming to an end. Around 2 lakh Bengalis living in Gadchiroli and Chandrapur districts have been demanding this for 25 years. If not a new train, then the request is being made to solve the problem by extending the train. But the people have now started believing that BJP has only used the votes of the Bengali community by giving them continuous assurances.

Why is a direct Howrah train necessary?
The people living here have to first travel to Nagpur for 3.5 hours to go to Kolkata. Then they have to catch a train from there. The other route is through Gondia. It takes around 4.5 hours to reach there. Then they get a train. People have to lose sleep by waiting at night at both the places. Children and elderly people face a lot of problems due to this.
Obstacle in visiting relatives, business and pilgrimage
Thousands of people from both the districts have relatives in Kolkata. Many people go for pilgrimage to famous places like Dakshineshwar Kali Temple, Ramakrishna Math, Kali Ghat and Puri Jagannath. Some people go for business purposes. Thousands of Matuya followers visit Thakurbari every year. In such a situation, a direct Howrah train from here can also be beneficial for the railway administration.
The matter had reached the Railway Minister!
It is not that Bengali speaking people did not try! They reached the leaders through every medium. The matter had reached the Railway Minister. But no one listened to the call of the Bengali community. Everyone kept using the votes of the community by giving false assurances. As a result, no action has been taken so far. Experts say that the train can be extended to Howrah via Ballarpur via Nagpur or from the south via Andhra Pradesh.
Why did this problem become impossible under Modi Ji?
“Modi hai toh Mumkin Hai” was the slogan given. The Prime Minister can make the impossible possible. He is solving the problems of Hindus immediately. Such claims are being made. Modi Ji has come to power for the second time. Bengali society is also Hindu, then why is there injustice with them here? Why is a direct train to Howrah impossible in Modi Ji’s rule? These people are now asking such questions. Because Bengali society is considered to be BJP’s pocket vote.
